Lorenzo Ferrante is an Italian Film Director, Cinematographer, and Creative Director, based in New York City. His passion for filmmaking began at an early age through the use of stop-motion techniques and miniatures.

After earning a degree in visual arts in Milan, he started his career in the Italian Advertising and Movie industry in both Milan and Rome. Lorenzo directed, wrote, and produced several narrative short films that garnered acclaim and 22 awards at various international film festivals, including the prestigious "Nastri D’argento - Silver Ribbon" in Italy.

Upon relocating to the U.S., Lorenzo collaborated with major brands on commercial and fashion/luxury projects. He traveled several continents, shooting documentaries with a keen focus on social and environmental issues.

Subsequently, he shifted his focus towards integrating cutting-edge technologies in a film/photo studio setup. His aim was to help propel the business into the future of media content production, concentrating on VR, AR, Volumetric Capture, Motion Capture, Photogrammetry, and Virtual Production.

In the summer of 2022, he co-designed the first and largest Virtual Production stage in Manhattan. In his current role as a Creative Director of Virtual Production, he oversees ICVFX projects from their creative concept to their final completion, merging creative vision with technical execution.

Lorenzo, deeply passionate about storytelling, continuously learns new techniques to uniquely and compellingly deliver each project, capturing its true essence.
